I may be the third, claims Doris Jones

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 10, 2014: Facebook group “Sabah Sarawak Keluar Malaysia” (SSKM) activist Doris Jones may be the third individual to have her passport revoked, or so she claimed.

Jones, who once challenged Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak and Defence Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein to arrest her, had today announced on her Facebook page that she, too, may have her passport rescinded the way sex blogger Alvin Tan and student Ali Abdul Jalil had.

She wrote, in what may be perceived to be a joking tone: “Aduuhh!! Ha Ha Ha Ali Abd Jalil, regards from the instigator in United Kingdom, England to Sweden. Laugh out loud (LOL). I may be the third.

“There is no loss in losing citizenship. There is no loss in being an instigator for truth.

“Malaysian has become Republic (Ali Abd Jalil) and Sabah a country (Doris Jones),” she said in her Facebook posting.

Ali had earlier posted a status saying: “Doris Jones is the hero of Sabah and Sarawak. She is in United Kingdom and is fighting for the rights of Sabah and Sarawak.

“I am not sure if she applied for asylum or how… but I am sure that if she comes back to Malaysia she too will be charged under Sedition Act, imprisoned or threatened by Umno gangsters.

“Alvin Tan and Ali Abd Jalil may be instigators, maybe more will follow in our footsteps.

“In Malaysia you are not safe, other countries will accept and treat with humanity.

“The strategy of fighting from far is sometimes more effective that fighting in front of an enemy that is ready to kill,” stated Ali in a post dated Dec 1.

Ali faces charges under the Sedition Act for insulting the rulers and fled to Sweden on Oct 21.

Tan, on the other hand, faces two charges under the Film Censorship Act and Sedition Act for a “Ramadan greeting” deemed insensitive.

He was said to have left for Los Angeles three months ago.
